Dave asks if the instructions for getting a menu bar up and running are clear and concise.

They certainly were for me, and I really like the whole idea of a site that you can take sample code from. The key is to open the named outline 'kim'

The only thing that was hard for me was seeing the feed icon in the default menu and trying to replicate that in my own menu. The solution was in the following code:

<i class="icon-rss"></i>

[btw] I got the escaped html code for this past from here

Interesting to see Dave's announcement that he is now blogging in fargo until further notice.

I too really like it as a writing tool for blogs, but desperately want to be able to either run it on my own server or at least have the rendered files hosted at a domain I own.

Seeing as this blog is hosted on an amazon ec2 install I am very worried that a traffic surge could kill off the server, or any of the thousands of scenarios that would not be under my control.

Of course all the source files are stored 'safely' in my dropbox folder(s), but until I can get the capability or at least see a roadmap with some timeline, my blogging here will have to be sparse

:-(
